Neighborhood construction projects are often noisy, congested, and messy. However, most projects only run for a few weeks or months, and you can reclaim back your serenity.
Just What is the Source of Neighborhood Construction?
Depending on the project will depend on how long it is until you get to sleep in again. Here’s what could be going on outside:

Paving your neighborhood road with asphalt may take a few days depending on its size, and speed of the project. Repairs are often faster than new road paving and can take a few hours or a day only.

Some Noise is Unavoidable, But…
It’s important to note that you have a right to complain in case construction works done beyond the allowed time limit – say 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM – exceeds the noise level allowed by local building authorities ( for example 5 decibels).
You can report construction-related complaints to the local building authorities or police if it happens after the set time limit. Most contractors nowadays are obligated to keep noise levels as minimal as possible to avoid neighborhood construction disruptions.
